Mrs. LaShay Fisher, Preschool 3 Year Old

Mrs. Fisher earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Mrs. Fisher has been at HHCS since 2021.
Her favorite verse is Joshua 1:9.
Her favorite quote is "With God all things are possible."
In her spare time, she likes to sing and play the piano.
The Lord is teaching her to continue to trust in Him when things seem to be falling apart. He is always there and He knows what is best.
Mrs. Fisher and her husband, Bobby, have three boys.
A fun fact about Mrs. Fisher: She has never traveled anywhere on a plane. Flying terrifies her.

Mrs. Kathleen Middleton, Preschool 3 Year Old

Mrs. Middleton has been at HHCS since 2024.
Her favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20.
Her favorite quote is "When you are going through something hard and wonder where God is, REMEMBER, the teacher is always quiet during a test."
In her spare time, she likes to bake and decorate cakes.
The Lord has taught her that His timing is always perfect and sometimes it requires patience.
Mrs. Middleton's husband's name is Dylan.
A fun fact about Mrs. Middleton: She went parasailing in Hawaii on her honeymoon.

Mrs. Donna Gunther, Preschool 4 Year Old

Mrs. Gunther has been at HHCS since 2021.
Her favorite verse is Psalm 46:10.
Her favorite quote is "Procrastination is the thief of time, collar him." ~ Charles Dickens
In her spare time, she likes to read Amish fiction books.
The Lord has taught her to have patience.
Mrs. Gunther and her husband, Doug, have four children and six grandchildren.
A fun fact about Mrs. Gunther: Her three daughters-in-law, her sister-in-law, and her daughter are also teachers or are earning their degree.

Ms. Becky Garrison, Preschool 4 Year Old

Ms. Garrison earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education with a Spanish minor and a reading endorsement from Ball State University.
Ms. Garrison has been at HHCS since 2023.
Her favorite verse is Matthew 19:26b.
Her favorite quote is "Good things come to those who believe, better things come to those who are patient, and the best things come to those who don't give up!"
In her spare time, she likes to read, take walks, and spend time with her son.
The Lord is teaching her to worry less and trust Him more.
Ms. Garrison has one teenage son.
A fun fact about Ms. Garrison: She loves penguins and otters! They are her favorite animals to watch at the zoo.

Miss Abby Nash, Preschool 4 Year Old

Miss Nash earned her associate's degree in early childhood education from Ivy Tech Community College and is currently working on her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Governors University.
Miss Nash has been at HHCS since 2024.
Her favorite verses are Proverbs 3:5–6.
Her favorite quote is "Be the reason someone smiles today."
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her grandma and shop clearance racks for good deals.
Something the Lord has taught her is that her timing of events doesn't always match God's timing and that she needs to focus on what she knows rather than what she feels.
A fun fact about Miss Nash: She loves going on vacation to Florida, seeing the ocean, and putting her feet in the sand. She also loves listening to KLOVE radio station and singing along to the songs playing.

Mrs. Emily Cunningham, Kindergarten

Mrs. Cunningham earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education with a kindergarten endorsement from Taylor University.
She has been at HHCS since 2013.
Her favorite verses are Philippians 4:6–7.
In her spare time, Mrs. Cunningham likes to spend time with her family and friends.
The Lord is teaching her that His grace is sufficient. He provides unlimited grace daily and she needs to offer grace more freely to others.
Mrs. Cunningham and her husband, Chris, have three children.
A fun fact about Mrs. Cunningham: She grew up on a pig farm in Farmland, Indiana.

Miss Faith Warren, Kindergarten

Miss Warren earned her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Taylor University.
She has been at HHCS since 2025.
Her favorite verses are 2 Corinthians 4:7–9.
Her favorite quote is "Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive-it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for the imagination then, would there?"-Anne Shirley, Anne of Green Gables
In her spare time, she enjoys spend time with her nieces (Genevieve & Adaline) and nephews (Elijah & Matthew). She loves to go swimming camping and make crafts/artwork with them.
The Lord is teaching her that there is always another in the fire. He always with us even through hardships and he will bring us through them.
A fun fact about Miss Warren: She has a twin sister named Caitlyn.

Mrs. Hope Smith, 1st Grade

Mrs. Smith earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Anderson University.
She has been at HHCS since 2014.
Her favorite verse is Romans 10:13.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing tennis, and decorating.
The Lord is teaching her that He has a plan for her and her family and that she can trust Him to provide for their needs!
Her favorite quote is "You can't take your 'stuff' to heaven, but you can take others."
Mrs. Smith and her husband, Gary, have three children, all graduates of HHCS. They recently became grandparents to a precious baby girl, Stevie Lou.
A fun fact about Mrs. Smith: She has an adopted sister from Seoul, South Korea!

Mrs. Melody Booth, 2nd Grade

Mrs. Booth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma Baptist College.
Mrs. Booth has been at HHCS since 2021.
Her favorite verse is Isaiah 42:2.
Her favorite quote is "Look for Christ, and you will find Him; and with Him, everything else."
In her spare time, Mrs. Booth like to sew, bake, play the piano, shop, and take walks.
Something that the Lord has been teaching her is to trust Him more, keep her humble, have patience, and show graciousness.
Mrs. Booth is married to, Jon, who serves as the senior pastor at Bible Baptist Church. They have nine children (two are graduates of HHCS) and two precious grandchildren.

Miss Katie Beeson, 3rd Grade

Miss Beeson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in educational studies at Bob Jones University.
She has been at HHCS since 2025.
Her favorite verse is Psalm 34:10.
Her favorite quote is “The secret of the Christian's passion is simple: Everything we do in life we do it as to the Lord and not to men.” - David Jeremiah
In her spare time, Miss Beeson likes reading, doing something artsy, or doing a craft.
The Lord is teaching her to fully depend in Him because He will provide everything she needs.
A fun fact about Miss Beeson: She is part Canadian, but she doesn't say "Eh."

Mrs. Charity McDaniel, 4th Grade

Mrs. McDaniel earned her bachelor's degree in psychology at Grand Canyon University and is currently working on her master's degree in elementary education.
She has been at HHCS since 2023.
Her favorite verses are 1 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Timothy 3:16.
In her spare time, she likes to write stories and spend time with family. She also enjoys being the youth leader and puppet ministry leader at her church.
The Lord is teaching her to not fear and to trust Him completely.
Her favorite quote is "If you can be anything, be kind."
Mrs. McDaniel and her husband, Cody, have four fur babies. A cat (Smokey), a guinea pig (Alfie), a hamster (Ollie), and a geko (Axel).
A fun fact about Mrs. McDaniel is that she is the oldest of five sisters and three brothers. They are her best friends.

Mrs. Hannah Jaggard, 5th Grade

Mrs. Jaggard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from West Coast Baptist College.
She has been at HHCS since 2025.
Her favorite verse is Psalm 31:3.
In her spare time, she likes to play the piano, cross stitch, and freelance edit.
The Lord is teaching her to wait for his guidance; He always knows the best path and timing.
Mrs. Jaggard and her husband, Steven, have five children.
Fun fact about Mrs. Jaggard: She loves all things Coca-Cola.

Mr. Mark McKee, 6th Grade

Mr. McKee earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College.
He has been at HHCS since 1987.
His favorite verse is Philippians 1:6.
In his spare time, he likes to barbecue, watch sports, and spend time with his family.
The Lord has taught him that He always provides his needs and that he doesn't need to worry about them!
His favorite quote is “Attitudes are contagious; is yours worth catching?”
Mr. McKee and his wife, Lisa, have three children (all graduates of HHCS) and six grandchildren.
A fun fact about Mr. McKee: He grew up in Wisconsin and is an avid Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers fan.

Mrs. Bethany Gunther, Preschool & Elementary Music and Piano

Mrs. Gunther earned her Bachelor of Science degree in music education from Maranatha Baptist University.
She has been at HHCS since 2013.
Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:8.
In her spare time, Mrs. Gunther enjoys reading, playing sports, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
The Lord has been teaching her that she can totally depend on Him. Life is not always easy, but walking with the Lord brings peace and joy in every circumstance.
Her favorite quote is “Wherever you are, be all there. Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God” ~Jim Elliot.
Mrs. Gunther is married to Ryan, the college pastor at Grace Baptist Church. They have three children.
A fun fact about Mrs. Gunther: She grew up in Montana and loved living in the small town with wide open spaces.

Pastor Stephen Halleck, Elementary/Secondary Bands and Choirs

Pastor Halleck earned his bachelor's degree in music education from Bob Jones University.
He has been at HHCS since 2017.
His favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31.
In his spare time, he likes to hang out with his family.
The Lord has taught him to wait on the Lord because it will be worth it.
His favorite quote is “This time with talent!”
Pastor Halleck and his wife, Liz, have three daughters.
