Mr. Jay Anderson, 10–12 History, 9–10 Bible, 9 World Geography, Government, and 11 Worldview
  • Mr. Anderson earned his bachelors degree in social studies education and his masters of education/history from Bob Jones University.
  • He has been at HHCS since 2019.
  • His favorite verse is Philippians 1:6.
  • In his spare time, he likes to read and do yard work/landscaping (not cutting grass).
  • The Lord has taught him that as he receiving God's grace, he should be displaying God's grace.
  • His favorite quote is "In essentials, unity; non-essentials, liberty; all things, charity."
  • Mr. Anderson and his wife, Joyce, have three children and six grandchildren. 
  • A fun fact about Mr. Anderson is that his hometown is the location of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant, near disaster in 1979 (if you turn off the lights, he does not glow in the dark).
Mrs. Kelly Beeson, 7–12 Science and Secondary Resource
  • Mrs. Beeson earned a bachelor's degree in pre-medicine from Bob Jones University and a master's degree in physiology from Ball State University.
  • She has been at HHCS since 1993 (non-consecutive years).
  • Her favorite verse is Colossians 1:18.
  • In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
  • The Lord has taught her that if anything good comes from her teaching and administrative work, it is the Lord who did it!
  • Her favorite quote is “The cross goes against all the wisdom of man and all that man considers powerful.”  ~ unknown
  • Mrs. Beeson is married to Rodney, discipleship pastor at Grace Baptist Church. They have two children, who are both HHCS graduates. 
  • Fun fact is when Mrs. Beeson was a teenager, she met the Queen Mother (Queen Elizabeth).

Mrs. Carla Crull, 9–12 Science
  • Mrs. Crull earned her bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Ball State University.
  • She has been at HHCS since 1995.
  • Her favorite verse is Acts 16:31.
  • In her spare time, she likes to play with her grandson and to work in her flower beds.
  • The Lord is teaching her to accept her students without putting any previous judgement on them.
  • Her favorite quote is "Some things are better left unsaid." ~ her mother
  • Mrs. Crull and her husband, Mike, have two children (one of which has gone to heaven), both graduates of HHCS, and three grandsons.
  • A fun fact about Mrs. Crull is that she likes to read the comics and give them to others when they apply to something in their lives to put a smile on their faces. 
Pastor Stephen Halleck, Elementary/Secondary Bands & Choirs, JH/HS Soccer Coach, and Jr. Patriots Basketball Coach
  • Pastor Halleck earned his bachelor's degree in music education from Bob Jones University.
  • He has been at HHCS since 2017.
  • His favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31.
  • In his spare time, he likes to hang out with his daughters.
  • The Lord has taught him to wait on the Lord because it will be worth it.
  • His favorite quote is “This time with talent!”.
  • Pastor Halleck and his wife, Liz, have three daughters.

Mr. Caleb Hudson, 9–12 Math, STEM, and Physics 
  • Mr. Hudson earned his bachelor of arts degree in Math Education from Maranatha Baptist University.
  • He has been at HHCS since 2020.
  • His favorite verse is Proverbs 8:33.
  • In his spare time, he likes to read mysteries, sci-fi, and fantasy books.  He also likes to do different kinds of sudoku puzzles and watch cat videos.
  • The Lord is teaching him is that worry and anxiety change nothing. Either he can trust God and put those worries to rest or he can worry and make himself sick and add more onto his worries. 
  • His favorite quote is "Everything that exists in your life does so because of two things: something you did or something you didn't do.  ~ Albert Einstein
  • A fun fact about Mr. Hudson is that he won first place in Physics one year and first place in Biology in another year during IACS (Illinois Association of Christian Schools) Competition.

Miss Alisha MacQuarrie, 7–12 English
  • Miss MacQuarrie earned her bachelor of science degree in English education from Northland Baptist Bible College and her masters of education in English education from Bob Jones University. 
  • She has been at HHCS since 2021. 
  • Her favorite verse is Revelation 4:11.
  • Her favorite quote is "Education is to make one wise and the beginning of wisdom is knowing and fearing God." ~ Dr. Jim Bennett
  • In her spare time, she likes to work in children's church ministries, spend time with friends, and read. 
  • The Lord is teaching her is the importance of glorifying Him with every aspect of her life.
  • A fun fact about Miss MacQuarrie is that she likes to learn new things.

Mr. David Stein, Administrator, Boys' PE, Boys' Keyboarding,  and JH Study Hall
  • Mr. Stein earned a bachelors degree in secondary education, Bible, and physical education and a Masters degree in school administration both from Maranatha Baptist University. 
  • He has been at HHCS since 2015.   
  • He has taught middle and high school Bible, science, health, and physical education classes, and math in upper elementary through high school.
  • He likes teaching all subjects but Bible and math are his personal favorites.
  • He loves teaching because of the opportunity to challenge the minds of young people for the Lord as well as teaching them specific subject material.
  • In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and boating.
  • Mr. Stein and his wife, Janet, have two children and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Katy Ulrey, 9–11 Spanish
  • Mrs. Ulrey earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in TESOL and linguistics from Ball State University.
  • She has been at HHCS since 2015. 
  • Her favorite verse is Isaiah 30:21.
  • In her spare time, she enjoys genealogy research, painting, and organizing things.
  • The Lord has been teaching her that everyone is unique, everyone is special, and everyone has something to contribute.
  • Her favorite quote is "In light of eternity, how important is it?"
  • Mrs. Ulrey and her husband, Randy, have two children.     
  • A fun fact about Mrs. Ulrey is that she has met people from around twenty-five countries and has taught students from at least thirteen of them.
Miss Courtney Wallace, 7–8 History and Math, Yearbook, Pre-Algebra, 7–8 Girls' Keyboarding, Girls' PE, and Summer Day Camp Director
  • Miss Wallace earned a bachelor of arts degree in cross cultural service and a bachelor of science degree in middle school education, social studies, from Bob Jones University.
  • She has been at HHCS since 2018.​
  • Her favorite verse is Psalm 90:12.
  • Her favorite quote is "Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The Shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing." ~Abraham Lincoln
  • In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and drinking coffee.
  • The Lord is teaching her is he importance of being willing to be stretched.
  • A fun fact about Miss Wallace is that she has a giant rubber duck collection and she has traveled to Peru twice and Chile once. 
Mr. Les Wallace, 11–12 Bible, 12 Worldview, Speech, 9 Health, and 7–8 Bible  
  • Mr. Wallace earned a bachelor of arts degree in Bible from Bob Jones University and a master of theology from Southern Indiana Baptist College.
  • He has been at HHCS since 2017.
  • His favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31.
  • In his spare time, he likes to cook, read, and visit historical sites.
  • The Lord is teaching him that God' timing is perfect.
  • His favorite quote is “Do right though the stars fall.” ~Dr. Bob Jones Sr.
  • Mr. Wallace and his wife, Peggy, have four children and one grandchild. 
  • A interesting fact about Mr. Wallace is that he has learned over the years that a very helpful tool in Bible study is a good hymnal which he tries to include at various times as part of his devotional time.
