KINDERGARTEN
In our five-day, full-day five-year-old kindergarten, phonics and arithmetic form the solid foundation a student needs to do well in school. Every student anticipates learning to sound out words or figure out math problems. Science experiments pique their interest and they look forward to music, art, and PE.
ELEMENTARY
Reading and math are the primary emphases as we ensure students learn to read, then read to learn. Other subjects and special projects give them opportunities to put their knowledge to use. Comprehension and application gradually replace the mechanics of memorization. On that foundation, students begin to work independently and to do research. Oral and written reports help to hone these skills. |
