At Heritage Hall, we believe that recess is an important part of the day.  Exercise, fresh air, and a mental break enhances a student’s ability to concentrate when they return to the classroom. Our playground serves approximately 160 students during the school year and another 50–60 students for Summer Day Camp. The equipment is aging and inadequate for daily use.

Our Family Fun Run is an all-day fundraising event on Monday, April 28 to renovate our playground. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000 to complete our playground renovation. 

Every student and staff member participates. Students raise money by securing pledges from friends, family, and neighbors. We have incentives to keep them motivated.  Also, major prizes are awarded to students who complete the most laps or clock the fastest speed or meet the highest pledge goal. This year we have added a bounce house, obstacle course, and competitions to our activities.

There are several areas that will need volunteers for this event. If you can help with volunteering during the Family Fun Run, you can fill out the form on this webpage to indicate your availability. Lunch will be provided and includes a hot dog, chips, drink, and dessert for each participant.

Begin praying now for the Family Fun Run to have good weather, healthy participants, and fun but most of all that we accomplish our goal.
